Judy Watson devoted her life to be a loving and caring wife and mother. She was always there for each and everyone of us.Family to Judy was the most important thing in her life. She raised 4 kids with Jim and then came 6 grandkids which meant as much to her as her own. From the grandkids came several great grandkids. She loved watching them grow and spending as much time with them as she could. Once Jim retired, they enjoyed traveling and spending the winter months in Florida. During the summer Judy enjoyed having her family over so they could enjoy the lake and all it had to offer. Judy was a very loving, caring person, vary supportive and always willing to help anyone. She will be truly missed. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and was a member of the Club Girls of Grand Rapids Catholic Center graduating class of 1954.
Judy is survived by 4 children James Watson of Kalkaska, Theresa Remelts of Gowen, Tracy Watson Brown and David (Robin) Watson of Greenville; six grandchildren, Brian (Alisha) Brown, Amy (Bill) Gulembo, Tigger and Trevor Remelts, Christina (Sean) Ellis and Jamie Watson; three step grandchildren Michael and Mathew Reuss and Ericka Kolakowski; great grandchildren Kailey and Bronson Brown, Liam, Elijah, Billy, Kassidy and Katelyn Gulembo, Alexandrah, Audi, Owen, Marley and Lincoln Remelts, Emma, Brady and Mason Ellis, David, Jaxon, Daimyon and Nicholes Watson and Zoe Reuss; brother Dr. James (Nancy) Doyle; sister M. Jean Winters; brother in law John (Yvonne) Watson; sister in law Grace (George) Miller and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Watson, Sr.
Visitation will be at Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Sunday, January 13, 2019, with Rosary recited at 8 PM. Funeral Mass celebrated by Fr. Jim Wyse will be at 11 AM Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville with visitation at the church from 10 AM to the Mass. Burial will take place later at Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix. Memorial contributions can be made in Judy's name to St. Charles Catholic Church.
