She received an associate degree from Jackson State University. She was also the owner of Children Palace.
Mrs. Green was Baptist and attended Word of Faith Ambassadors Worship Center. She was a licensed cosmetologist, CDL licensed, welder, and enjoyed listening to John Cherry Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, James Green; one son, Isaiah Washington Jr.; one daughter, Elaine W. Harris; seven grandchildren; two stepchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
