EAST GREENBUSH George E. Maloney, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at his residence. George was born in Albany and was a lifelong resident of the Capital District. He started his career with the Albany Fire Department and after three years transferred to the Albany Police Department. He was a lifetime member of the Rensselaer Knights of Columbus. Husband of the late Maude E. Maloney; son of the late Jeanette and Edward Maloney; brother of Bernard, Linda, Sandy and the late John and Milton Maloney; father of David, Scott and Pauly Maloney; and grandfather of Pauly, Madeline and Marissa. He is also survived by many niece and nephews. George's sons would like to offer a special thank you to Doug Nadorski for his long time support.
