Donald R. "Bonzo" Slater, 63, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, WI
He was known by "Bonzo" by family and friends. Living in the wilderness, he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and animals.
He is survived by his fiance' of 35 years Dorothy Mori of Menominee, MI;
two sisters: Vickie Slater and Cindy Davis of Escanaba, MI; and three nephews: Bill Abbott, Don Deschaine and Harley Finnerty.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Finnerty and a brother, Jody Abbott.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
