Michael was an easy going humble man. A self employed house painter by trade who enjoyed the simple things in life, like riding his Harley Davidson to the beach to watch the sunset, enjoying a good meal with family or friends, working on cars, motorcycles and going to 49er games with his son Michael Jr.
Michael was the youngest of 4 children, son of the late John D. Harney and Dorothy M. Harney. He is survived by his son Michael A. Harney, Brothers John D. Harney, Charles L. Harney, sister Diane Nyland, nieces Lea (Harney) Dudum, Danielle A. Harney, nephews, John D. Harney, Christopher J. Harney, Joseph P. Harney, best friend George Aguilar and dog Jake.
