William C. Strobel, 59, died at his home 216 Ferry St. at 1 am today. He had been a resident of this city for the past 55 years. He was a painter and decorator here for many years.

Surviving are his wife, five daughters, Mrs. James McSorley and Mrs. Bernard Henning of Rice Lake, Mrs. Otto Machala and Mrs. Nick Relic of Chicago and Patricia Henning, Eau Claire, one sister Mrs. Elsie McSorley, one brother Albert Strobel, both of Eau Claire and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Sat. at Stokes and Sons and 10 am at St. James the Greater church, the Rev. Frank Bricki officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Correction - In the death notice of William Strobel, published Wednesday, the name of surviving daughter Patricia Henning should read as Patricia Strobel [The Daily Telegram, Friday, January 5, 1951].
