Obituary for Michael Dale "Two Turtles" Sparks

Michael Dale (Two Turtles) Sparks 69, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born November 7, 1949 in Greene County, he was the son of Lloyd and Lila (Flaherty) Sparks.

Michael was a Commercial Construction Superintendent for several companies, including Lauth Construction. He was a member of the Tomahawks.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Charlette Sparks, whom he married July 18, 1997; one daughter, Brandy Arford and her son Michael both of Loogootee; stepson, Jason Wright of Fairmont, West Virginia; one brother, John Sparks of Solsberry; one niece and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Carmichael cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
