Billy Joe Perry, age 80, passed away on Friday, June [sic] 18, 2019 at his home in Vancleave, Mississippi. He was a native of Decherd, Tennessee, but a long time resident of Vancleave.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Perry and Ollie Mae Perry; and siblings, Melvina and Jerry Tankersley, Dale and Carolyn Perry, Hazel and Parker Reavis.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Bobbie Sue Perry; four children, Tina Cooly (Richard), Mike Perry (Angie), Ricky Perry (Angie), Richard White (Helen); best and closest friends, Milford and Gay Rigdon; siblings, Jack Perry (Bea), Jessie Perry (Barbara), Peggy Prince (Bill), Gaynell Rhoton (Wayne), Danny Perry (Shirley), Helen Riddle; grandchildren, Mike Perry (Jennifer), Bradley Dossett (Brooke), Rachelle Williams (Justin), Lauren Herring, Mason Perry (Jenna), Jayme Dossett (Lindsey), Ricky Perry (Sasha), Dustin Cooley, Brennen Perry, Brannan Perry, Wesley Dossett, Haley Merrit (Jedd), Tucker Shows (Crosby); and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Perry was a Senior Master Sergeant in the US Air Force, worked construction and logistics for Keesler Air Force Base, MS, was a member of Gulf Coast Family Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed camping and reading.

The family would like to express their thanks to Deaconess Hospice and MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas for their special love and care.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Lemoyne Blvd. West Jackson County. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Gulf Coast Family Church of the Nazarene, 14700 Big Ridge Rd, Biloxi, Mississippi with visitation starting one hour prior.

Interment will military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
