Daniel was born in FordCity, PA on January 29, 1927. He was raised along the Alleghany River in a small town called Kittanning,PA with his sisters. He entered the US Navy during WWII, then into the National Guard and then the Army spending time in Germany.
He found his way from PA to Detroit, Michigan and then to Brunswick, Ohio where he worked for Ford Motor Company Cleveland Engine Plant where he retired from. Upon his retirement, he and his wife began exploring the USA with a travel trailer. He would always start each day on the road by playing “On the Road Again”. He got to see much of the USA. Traveling across the Oregon Trail, Route 66 and seeing many of the places he watched in western movies and shows. Eventually they settled down again in Phoenix.
He enjoyed music, dancing, playing bingo and socializing. He was very happy at Deer Valley Senior Living watching airplanes, hot air balloons, the mountains and socializing. Oh yeah, Dancing too. He liked it so much he spoke of it to everyone he would meet.
He was happy and at Peace.

Daughters: Darlene (Bill) Wiser and Millie (Keith) Roussel; Sons: David A. (Helen) Fry; Daniel P. Fry.
Grandsons: (DJ) David (Nicole) Fry; Jason (Shannon) Thome.
Granddaughters: Julie Mackenzie; Becky (Thomas) Worth; Sarah (Bo) Edwards; Joanne (Chris) Drayer; Marianne (Jason) Bennett; Jennifer (Mike) Knapp.
29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Dan was proceeded in death by
Wife, Dorothy; son, Daniel G.(Butch) Fry III; granddaughter, Michele Miner; and companion, Flo Emanuele.
