Jean was a graduate of Cathedral Academy. She retired from the SUNY Albany Library in 1985.
She was a member of Town & Country Garden Club, the Ladies Elks, and the Elks Golf League.
Jean enjoyed wintering in Florida, Gardening, Golf and her MOAA Lunchens.
She was the wife of the late James M. Nolan; mother of Kathleen N. Rainka (Edward A.); grandmother of Dr. Michelle Rainka (Eric Little) and David E. Rainka (Kara Rice); great grandmother of Riley and Nolan; sister of the late George Deuel; aunt of Richard Deuel, Kevin Deuel, Brian Deuel, Jerry Deuel, James Maczek, John Maczek, Karen Phelan, Terry Kenny and the late Jack Kenny.
The Rite of Committal will be held at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
