John Nicoll passed away at 11:45 p.m. on October 13, 2018 from congestive heart failure at the age of 87. His request of a no fuss burial was honored. The Nicoll (McLaughlin / Jacques / White / Burnet) family settled the upstate villages of New York in the early 1700's and John was the last family member to be born in NY. He wanted to be buried in the family plot, in Washingtonville, NY, among all his ancestors.
