Christy Lynn Hughes, 32 of Streator passed away Friday afternoon (April 27th) at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held on Friday from 4- 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Rory Christensen officiating.
Christy was born on July 26, 1985 in Streator to Lori J. Hall.
Surviving are brothers, Jake (Sara) Hall of Streator, Dustin Cashmer of Streator, sister Tonya Cashmer of Bloomington, step-father Robin Underwood of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Lori Underwood and maternal grandmother Betty Hall.
Christy attended Streator Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 2003 and attended the CNA program at IVCC. She was formerly employed as a waitress at Chippers and a CNA at the Flanagan Rehabilitation & Health Care.
Christy enjoyed fishing with family, tanning and being with family and friends.
