Brent was a PRP Panther and graduated from Western Kentucky University where he was a member of the of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Sales was his specialty but he also worked as a teacher and a painter.
Brent loved God, his family and the Green Bay Packers. He was also a fan of the U of L Cardinals and the St. Albert Vikings. He enjoyed hiking, weekend roadtrips, and family vacations, especially in Mexico. He found joy in making people laugh but above all he loved being a dad to his three children and a pops to his granddaughter.
Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Ruby Blackman and his brother Joe Blackman.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Blackman; daughter Ali (Rachael); sons Kyle (Katie) and Jonathan; granddaughter Covington; brother Donnie and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Albert the Great Church with burial immediately following in Calvary Cemetery.
