Master Javier Edgardo Castillo, 9, of Dalton departed this life Monday morning, May 28, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident along with his grandparents, Gabriel and Blanca Castillo and his father, Herber G. Castillo.Javier was born Feb. 8, 1998, in Elizabeth, N.J.
Javier was a fourth-grade student at Antioch Elementary School and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.He is survived by his mother, Jesenia Montoya of Honduras; brother, Herber Gamil Castillo Jr.; sister, Alondra Castillo, both of Dalton.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Jesus David Trujillo-Luna officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Little Prospect Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
