Ila Frances Smith passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the age of 71. She was born on August 13, 1947, to her parents, George Coleman and Helen Lyons [sic] Coleman. Frances retired from a career as a Teacher's Assistant at Mendenhall Elementary School in Mendenhall, MS. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church of Mendenhall. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Along with her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband James Monroe Smith, Jr.; brother, Ray Chalk; sisters, Charlene Way and Gale Pittman.
