Timothy “Tim” Thomas McDonald, age 61, of Douglasville, GA passed away on Wednesday January 16, 2019. He was born on January 27, 1957 in Douglasville, GA, to the late Jessie Thomas McDonald and the late Melba Caldwell McDonald. He was a retired sheet metal worker. Tim enjoyed deer hunting and loved to eat at Hudson’s. He was a patriot and loved his family and his country.
Tim is survived by his wife, Sandra “Sandy” McDonald; children: Shone McDonald and his wife, DeeAnn, Nicholas McDonald and his wife, Heather, Casandra “Cassie” Clinton and Ryan Sanderson, Benjamin “Ben” Clinton, Dana Liles, Daniel Liles and his wife, Kristin, and his beloved dog, Angel; grandchildren: Kurstin Walker, Peyton McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Skylar Massey, Jake McDonald, Lilly Liles, Madilynn Estevez, Joel Liles, Jonathan Liles; great grandchild: Walker Moody; brother: Ray Mac McDonald.
The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dexter Landers officiating.
Interment will follow in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
