When Miles Radcliffe was born on 30 October 1883 in Oldham, Lancashire, his father, Henry, was 32 and his mother, Emily, was 25.
He married Dorothy Kathleen Duffin in September 1913 in Worcester, England.
They had one child during their marriage. He died as a young father on 12 December 1914 at the age of 31.
