Willie Elvin Hicks Obituary

Elvin Hicks, a native of Mississippi and resident of Napoleonville, LA, peacefully went home to the Lord on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the age of 87.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bobbie Williams Hicks; sons, Elvin Lee Hicks (JoAnn) and Randy Hicks (Renee); daughter, Staci Kimrey (Harold Louis); granddaughters, Courtney Hicks Richard (Seth) and Whitney Hicks; siblings, Jimmie Dale Hicks (Pam), Don Hicks (Frances), and Barbara Hathorne; sisters-in-law, Janie Williams Brown and Barbara Anne Williams Hicks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Elvin Hicks Sr. and Annie Mae Hicks; daughter, Pamela Sheree Hicks; granddaughter, Shelbie Lynn Hicks; and siblings, Darryl Hicks, Allen Hicks, Carl Hicks, Janie Sue Perry, Marvin Hicks, and Robert Hicks Sr.

Elvin was a long time Deacon at First Baptist Church of Napoleonville. He retired from C.F. Industries. He will be greatly missed.
