Mrs. Maude Isabel Dresia, 79, of Columbus, died at 7:30 last night in the City hospital where she had been a patient for the past several days. She had been in failing health for about four years.

Born July 27, 1881, at Rulo, Nebr., Mrs. Dresia was the daughter of George and Addie Southard. She was married to Frank J. Dresia of Galena on Jan. 20, 1900, in Kansas City, Mo. After their marriage they made their home in Galena until moving to a farm nine miles northwest of Columbus in 1903. In 1956 Mr. and Mrs. Dresia moved from the farm to Columbus. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are the husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Thornburg, of Columbus, and Mrs. Pauline Morian, of Joplin; two grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Pruear, Hot Springs, Mont., Mrs. Viola B. Fagg, and Mrs. Bertha Betters, both of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Grace Anderson, Iola, and Mrs. Emma Gordon, Humboldt, Kans.; one brother, Purl Southard, Iola, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in the Ruhland-Murdock chapel with the Rev. Ronald Starr officiating. Burial will be in the Edgman cemetery.
