He was born on March 16, 1926 in Ronceverte, West Virginia the son of the late Andy and Hassie Morgan. He was a retired carpenter. He served in the US Army and was a Disabled American Veteran. He was a member of the Gainesville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Margaret Morgan; one son, Dexter L. Morgan and his wife Karen.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia with Pastor Jack Lash officiating. Interment will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Salem Cemetery in Greenbrier Co., West Virginia.
