Earl L. “Tex” Bedford Jr., 79, formerly of Lehigh, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Newton Medical Center, Newton. He was a retired manager-supervisor for AMPI, Hillsboro.
He was born May 25, 1939, in Nanticoke, Pa., the son of Earl Sr. and Dorothy Bedford. He married Twila Boese on Nov. 16, 1958, in Salina and she preceded him in death, Nov. 29, 2016.
A son, Darrell, preceded him in death.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the First Baptist Church, McPherson. Inurnment will be at a later date in Lehigh Township Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church Shalom Sunday School Class, in care of Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.
