Son of Henry L. & Olive I. Lamarche.

Edmond served as a Private First Class, Company H, 172nd Infantry, 43rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Franklin County, Vermont prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Vermont National Guard on February 24, 1941, prior to the war, in Saint Alban's, Vermont. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Porter and also as Single, without dependents.

Edmond "Died Of Wounds" received in action in the Philippines during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
