Ray Chastaine Dawson, age 73, of Sweetwater, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Ray was a loving father and poppy. He attended Beulah Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Claude William Dawson Sr. and Gladys Irene Ridge Dawson; brothers: Junior and Cotton Dawson.
He is survived by his son: Charlie Dawson; daughters and sons-in-law: Lori Gillian and husband Michael, Robin Hatfield and husband Walter; grandchildren: Katerina Gillian, Trey Dawson, Kobe Dawson, Corbin Hatfield, Anthony Keyt; sister: Marian Jaynes, all of Sweetwater, TN; several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater where the family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2019, at the Beulah Chapel Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Bill Dawson Officiating.
