Raymond Wesley Hancock, 60, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at his residence.

The son of Lester Frank and Lena Mary (Sarp) Hancock, he was born May 21, 1957 in Latrobe, PA.

Ray was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, class of 1975. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and NRA. Ray was previously employed by Joy Global and also operated a farm with his brothers. He loved picking the banjo, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family. Ray also enjoyed attending auctions and garage sales and was an antique collector.

Surviving is his wife of 29 years, Annette (Immel) Hancock, Shelocta; daughters, Alison (Justin) Thompson, Shelocta, Kelly (Travis) Ferrington, Avonmore, and Andrea Hancock and her significant other, Michael Percic, Shelocta; granddaughter, Tessa Thompson, Shelocta; brothers, Dan (Maureen) Hancock, Clarksburg and Dave Hancock, Export; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Shirley Immel, Greensburg; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. An additional hour of viewing will be conducted on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow in the church.

Interment will follow in the West Lebanon Cemetery.
