She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church, where she participated in Ruth's Circle, and Believers Sunday School Class. Sara enjoyed her family above everything else. She especially loved visits from her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In past years, while at Laurel View Village, she enjoyed playing cards with her many friends along with participating in many other enjoyable activities. Sara will be greatly missed by her beloved family as well as her caregivers at Laurel View Village. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Aunt and steadfast friend. Her contagious laugher, sense of humor and warm smile will always remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
Friends will be received from 2 - 4 pm Friday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street, Geistown. A Celebration of Sara's Life will be held Saturday at 3 pm at Laurel View Village.
