Amy Elizabeth Bacon, 75, of Odenton, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Born August 7, 1943 she was the devoted wife of 34 years to the late Clement T. Bacon. She is survived by her five children: Andrew Bacon of Odenton, MD, Bruce Bacon of Gambrills, MD, Erica Bacon of Moon Township, PA, Felicia Pryor of Odenton, MD and Donna (Terri) Tittle of North, SC, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Crystal Pope of Fuquay Varina, NC, Jennifer Ferraro of Mebane, NC, Dylan Bacon of Gambrills, MD, AbagaleTrostle of Hopewell, PA, Aubrey Bacon of Odenton, MD, Johnny and Jackson Prose both of Moon Township, PA and Brandy Hall of North, SC. She is also survived by great grandchildren Blake and Brayden Pope, Austin and Catherine Ferraro, and Trey and Carly Hall. She also leaves behind a large family of loving dogs who will all miss her very much: Ashes, Jules, Cooper, Joanie, Lexi, Wendy, Grace, Bandit and Scooter.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, long term partner Jerry Stallard, and her son, Allen Bacon. She was a homemaker for much of her life, raising her five children and providing loving care for her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family both immediate and extended.
Friends may visit Hardesty Funeral home, 851 Annapolis, Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054 for a Memorial Gathering on Friday, January 18 from 9AM to 11AM. A short service celebrating her life will begin at 10:30AM, officiated by Reverend Lyons Her interment will begin at 11:30AM on Friday, January 18 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD where she will be laid to rest with her late husband. All friends and family are welcome to attend the interment as well as a reception following at Perry’s Restaurant at 1210 Annapolis Rd. in Odenton, MD.
