Ralph Mickey "Mick" Ford January 03, 1928 - January 13, 2019
Mick Ford was born in Raymondville, Texas on January 3, 1928 to Leonard and Vira Jane Ford. He was one of seven children who grew up in Altus, Oklahoma where he met his wife to be, Charlene Doyle, in 3rd grade.

Mick served in the army, air force division for 3 years during World War II. He was stationed in Washington State until being honorably discharged.

He was married on June 2, 1951 to his childhood sweetheart, Harriet Charlene in Lawton, Oklahoma. Last June they celebrated their 67th anniversary.

Mick worked over 40 years in the oil and gas industry including 22 years at Unit Rig and Equipment Company selling oil rigs and 200 ton trucks for open pit mining. He took the family to Texas, Salt Lake City and Australia finally settling in Tulsa.

He retired to Broken Arrow where he loved to go boating, fishing and arrowhead hunting. He was known for his great skill in rebuilding classic cars and his hobby of cabinetry/wood working. He was known as the family storyteller.

He passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Broken Arrow. He was preceded in death by his son John Kelly Ford last May. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Ford, daughter Cynthia Williams, Son in law Justin Williams, Grandson Mark Ford, Granddaughter Brandy Ford, 3 great grandchildren and his faithful border collie, Jenny.
