Beverly Jo Howard

Mrs. Beverly Jo Howard, 81 of Livingston, passed from this life Sunday, January 13, 2019 at her home. She was born in Livingston, KY on November 17, 1937 the daughter of Elmer, Sr. and Vivian Waddle Spivey. She was a retired instructional assistant for Rockcastle County Schools and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann McNew and Karen Alcorn, both of Mt. Vernon, and Kimberly Howard and Tammi Howard, both of Livingston; her grandchildren, Brad and Amanda McNew of Mt. Vernon, and Ashlee and Wesley Basham of Leitchfield; two great grandsons, Rhett and Kip McNew; and a great granddaughter, Emilee Jo Basham. Also surviving is a special friend, Edith Morton of Lexington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Howard; two brothers, Elmer Spivey, Jr. and Jerald Spivey; a special cousin, Verlon Terry; and her very special little Yorkie, “Festus”. Burial in the Bales Cemetery, Bales Cemetery Road, Livingston, KY.
