Martha I. Hamilton, 82, of Exeter Township, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019, in her residence.
She was the wife of Harry J. Hamilton.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Pearl (Yorgey) Schaich.
Martha was employed for many years by the former Western Electric and AT&T Lucent Technologies, Reading, prior to retiring. Martha was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Stacey L., wife of Kevin Beebe, of Shillington; and her sons: Arthur P. Hamilton, of Exeter Township; Kenneth J. Hamilton, of Pittsburgh; and Walter A. Hamilton and wife, Patty, of Morgantown. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Hamilton.
Services will be held in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading (Exeter Township), Pa., on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, (today), at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. An additional memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in Pennside Presbyterian Church, 253 N. 25th St., Reading, PA 19606, for those not able to attend today's service.
