Marvin W. Stanley was born to Lloyd W. and Glenna (Gage) Stanley. He grew up in Cincinnati until his family moved to Minnesota. He was a veteran of WWII. He and his wife, Lois M. Wolfe, returned to Indiana where, with family members, he started Armstrong Heating Company in Richmond. He was survived by a son, a granddaughter, a stepgrandson, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter and his wife.
