He Was Born At Huntly,Scotland, On 10th February 1866, And Was The Son Of The
Rev.Duncan Matheson, Formerly Chaplain, To The Scottish Regiments In The Crimean War.
He Was Educated At Dollar Academy And Subsequently Resided In Glasgow And Qualified
As An Accountant Before Arriving In Australia As A Young Man.
Leaves A Widow And Four Children
