George L. Ryan, Jr. was born in Victoria, TX to George Ryan Sr. & Beatrice Wofford. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. He served 4 years in the US Marine Corps; later obtained his pilot's license, worked as a corporate pilot and retired from Flight Safety International as a flight instructor in 2009. George was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved to share his hunting stories and experiences and to spend time with his family and friends. George was 83 when he passed away at home in San Antonio, TX with his family at his side.

Mr. Ryan was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Clare Ryan. He is survived by his wife, daughters, other relatives and many friends.
