Bessie Brewer-Rogers, age 99, a resident of Victoria, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Victoria, Texas. She was born November 11, 1916 in West, Texas to Joseph Vyvijal and Agnes Chovanec Vyvijal. Bessie was a member of Rebekah Lodge I.O.O.F., Good Sam RV Club and First Christian Church, Kingsville.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Henry Lee Brewer and Arthur M. Rogers.
Bessie is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Brewer of Telferner, Texas and Charles R. Brewer and wife Jane of Leander, Texas; three stepsons; two stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the First Christian Church, 1900 South Brahma Blvd., Kingsville, with Rev. Terry L. Neel officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville, Texas.
