Mary A. Brenner, 72, of York, passed away at 9:15 AM, Friday, January 11, 2019, at her home in North York.

Mary was born May 18, 1946, in York and was the daughter of the late Clair and Doris (Latham) Brenner.

In 1964 she graduated from Northeastern High School in Manchester. She was employed as an executive secretary by Quaker City Paper and Chemical Company for 46 years before retiring in 2015. She was a member of Toastmasters International, Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf, a member of the North York Borough Council and Al Anon.

Mary is survived by her beloved son, Scott Brenner of York; her two sisters, Sally Senft and Betsy Schwartz both of York, and her four brothers, Richard Brenner of York, John Brenner of Mount Wolf, Robert Brenner of Wellsville and Thomas Brenner of Manchester.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2019, at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home. Private Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Chaplain Kevin Frain from Hospice and Community Care.
