Funeral services for Mrs. Cheryl Lee, 68, of Baskin, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Light House Apostolic Church, with Rev. Timothy Parker and Rev. Cecil Grantham officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.
Mrs. Lee was a member for 41 years of Light House Apostolic Church, a bookkeeper for several nursing homes in Franklin Parish and also retired from The Council on Aging. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and spending time with her family. Mrs. Lee was born on April 1, 1950 in Winnsboro, LA to the union of Millard Joseph Jones and Cleo Josephine Bailey Jones, and passed from this life on January 11, 2019 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kelvin Jones, Elton Jones, Devan Jones; and sister, Lois Wilson.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Harold Lee; daughter, Dana Lee and Shane Bordelon of Crowville; son, Randy Lee of Baskin; grandchildren, Donald Veuleman, Kaden Murray, and Randy Clem; brother, Millard Jones and wife Patrica of Liddieville; and sisters, Joyce Hatten and husband Earl of Liddieville and Alice Primm and husband Robert also of Liddleville.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Jones, Chad Parker, and Dusty Jones.
Honorary Pallbearer is Jonathan Hutto.
