Chester Laverne Rockey, 77, died at noon Thursday, August 28, 1997, at The Oaks, where he had been a resident for several years.
Born in Etna Township on September 27, 1919, he was the son of James D. and Ethel Mae Lena Linn Rockey. His formative years were spent on a farm north of Etna.
