Pauline Elizabeth Young Clark, known to many as “Granny”, was born July 30, 1930, at Oxford, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Bal William Young and Doyle Edna Stephens Young. She attended Junet Pentecostal Church, was retired from West Bend, and also managed the Spirit of Sharing (S.O.S.) in Sheridan for many years. The joy of her life was taking care of others, especially her family. Though small in stature, she was a giant to her family, and she leaves behind a lasting legacy of strength, loyalty, and love.

Mrs. Clark died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Sheridan, at the age of 88. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her Husband Jessie Franklin Clark; daughter, Elizabeth Ozment; brothers, Claude Young, Carthel Young, Dorman Young; sister, Emma Clark.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Baker; grandsons, Doug Ozment, Mitchell Baker, Max Ozment; great grandchildren, Lexie, Asher, and Hazen; son-in-law, Don Ozment; all of Sheridan. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow in Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation is also Tuesday, 10:00-11:00 A.M.

Pallbearers: Doug Ozment, Max Ozment, Tommy Clark, Gary Clark, Don Ozment, Mitchell Baker.

The family would like to thank Victoria Murphey for the exceptional care she gave to Mrs. Clark, and also Arkansas Hospice for all of their assistance. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice.
