Angie Sanchez was born on January 14, 1932, in Colton, CA, and passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2018, in Fresno, CA. She was the third child of seven born to Ventura and Carmen Rodri- guez.

Angie volunteered teaching CCD and being a EMHC at Sacred Heart Catholic Church along with many other things. Angie was in multiple clubs such as, Young Ladies Institute, and the Guadalupanos, where she held many positions.

Angie was employed by Fresno Unified School District as a cook for 28 years, and she loved serving the children. She also sold Avon for over 18 years, and was in the President's club many times. She could charm you into buying anything. "Ding-Dong, Avon calling"

She was preceded in death by her mom Ventura; husband Angelo; brother, and sister.

Angie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Joe Piacentini; sons, Michael Sanchez and wife Marlene, and Ramon Sanchez; grandson, Ruben Quintero; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Greg and wife Carmen, Carmen Jr. and wife Cynthia; sister, Sally and husband Al; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary will at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel at 6:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
