Julia Willingham Lawson, 33, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2014 at her home in Crab Orchard. Born on March 23, 1981 in Beckley, WV, she was the precious baby daughter of Jerry and Brenda Willingham of Beckley. Julia was preceded in death by her beloved companion, Richard Lester; her grandmother, Emolene Sesco and grandfathers, Cleve Willingham and Ray Roach and Uncle Benny Willingham. She leaves behind her three beautiful daughters, Emma and Sarah Lawson, and Hannah Lester whom she loved with all her heart. Others left to cherish the memories are sister, Susanna Eller and husband, Norman of Slab Fork, WV; brother, Jared Willingham and wife, Whitney of Lexington, KY; and sister, Joanna Hypes and husband, Derrick of Beaver, WV; grandmother, Cleo Roach, of Mullens; grandfather, James Sesco and wife Charlotte of Beckley; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Julia enjoyed her job and thought highly of her co-workers at the Sleep Inn in Beaver. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Mabscott, WV, where she recently rededicated her life, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life”. Julia went to high school in Mullens, graduating from Wyoming East High School in 1999. Julia will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. We have hope in Christ Jesus that we will see her again. Services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Frankie Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
