Kenneth Wayne Davenport, 66, of 614 Johns Creek Road, Hodges, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Mack Willis and Mary Taylor Davenport. He was retired from Greenwood County Road Department, where he worked on the road maintenance crew, and was a US Army Veteran, serving during Vietnam. Mr. Davenport was of the Christian faith and attended Emerald Baptist Church.
Surviving is his daughter, Tiffany Voiselle (Lee); his former wife, Debra Davenport of the home; sister, Lorie Ferqueron (Lee), both of Hodges; and grandchildren, John “Scooter” Bryan of Greenwood, Connor Pressley, Ava Pressley, Ezra Voiselle, and Lyric Voiselle, all of Hodges.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, April Bryan.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Lothridge officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Randy Burdette, Charles Burdette, Billy Yount, George McKinney, Robbie Taylor, and Michael Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
