WOOSTER -- Peggy J. Buchanan, 78, of Wooster, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at her home.Services will be Wednesday, May 30, at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, with Pastor Robert Holmes officiating. Burial will be at Fair Haven Cemetery.Friends may call two hours prior to the services.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.

Peggy was born May 31, 1928, in West Salem to Russell and Naidne (Palmer) Dreibelbis and married Frank Buchanan. He died previously.She retired from Farmer Boy Restaurant in Wooster, where she was a cook and enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Cleveland Indians.

Surviving are children, Jack Buchanan of Funk, Randy Buchanan of West Salem, Rex Buchanan of Shreve, Doug (Sherrie) Buchanan of Medina, Sheila (Ted) White of Arkansas, Sandy Buchanan and Shelly (Les) Steele, both of Wooster; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Buster Frank of Florida.In addition to her husband, her parents, sons, Ricky Joe and Roger, three sisters and grandchildren, Heath Buchanan and Ashley Christy, died previously.
