Actress and Screenwriter. She achieved some fame as a film actress in the 1920s, but was equally acclaimed for her work as a screenwriter. Among the more well-known films, she wrote the screenplay for Don Juan (1927), Safe in Hell (1931), and The Maltese Falcon (1931). Fulton also authored a number of well-received stage plays.
