McGrath Funeral
The funeral of Edwin J. McGrath, 42, superintendent of the Birtman Electric Co., Rock Island, where he had been employed the last 20 years, will be held at 8:30 a. m. Tuesday in Halligan funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 8 p. m. today.
Mr McGrath. who died at 2:10 p. m., Saturday in Mercy hospital, after a two month's illness, was born May 31, 1903, in Davenport, and was married June 30, 1932, to Frances F. Fay in St. Paul the Apostle church. He resided at 433 East Thirty-first street.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mary Fay and Ann McGrath, both at home; one son, Patrick McGrath, also at home; his parents, Mr and Mrs Patrick L. McGrath, Davenvort; one brother, the Rev. Raymond J. McGrath. West Liberty, and one sister, Mrs Leo McKilligan of Davenport.
