Megan Elizabeth Lewis, passed away January 10, 2019 in Kalamazoo, MI. Megan was born on January 19, 1989 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Gary D. and Victoria A. (Beebe) Lewis.

She attended Portage Central High School where she was active in cheer-leading. Megan enjoyed camping, swimming, dancing and most of all having fun with all her family and friends. Surviving is the love of her life and daughter Melainey Lewis; her significant other Paul Bandle; her father Gary and Marcia Lewis; her mother Victoria and Tim Thornton; her siblings Meredith (Mike) Krueger, Michael (Christina) Lewis, Miranda Thornton; nephews and niece Alden and Callan Krueger, Gabriella Lewis; grandmother Diane Thornton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends who all loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday at the First Reformed Church of Portage (7905 S. Westnedge Ave.) where a Memorial Celebration of Megan's Life will begin at 12:30pm Saturday with Pastor Clayton Smith officiating. Immediately following the service there will be a reception in the church fellowship hall.
