Alice Starnes passed away January 11, 2019, one day short of her 91st birthday. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Newell Bryant and Helen Catherine (Campbell) Neece on Thursday, January 12, 1928.
Alice attended Irving High School, played basketball and graduated class of 1945. In 1948 she married Everett Starnes and they were long time Irving residents. She enjoyed traveling, was a lifelong member of Christ Church in Irving and was always active in the church when she was able.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett Starnes Sr, daughter, Carol Jean Starnes, brother, Bryant Neece and sister, Laurel Campbell. Survived by her son, Earnest Everett Starnes Jr., sister, Pat Reynolds, brother, Art Neece, grand children; great-grand children along with numerous nephews, nieces and many other extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held January 16, 2019 in Irving with a committal at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following...BRFH
