Mrs. Juarez was born on June 15, 1931, to Fidal Contreras and Ventura Hernandez in Canutillo, Texas. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching TV with her husband. She was a member of St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Francisco; 11 children: Petra Roman, of Maricopa, Alicia Ramirez and Francisco C. Juarez Jr., of Eloy, Helen Escarcega, of Casa Grande, Angelita Gamez, of Eloy, George Juarez, of Casa Grande, Jerry and Jimmy Juarez, of Eloy, Johnny Juarez, of Casa Grande, Bernardo and Corina Juarez, of Eloy; five siblings: Pedro Contreras, of CA, Rosa Juarez, of Eloy, Ricardo Granado, of Phoenix, Damacio Granado, of Globe, and Josefina Granado, of Las Cruces, NM; 31 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 51 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three children: Anthony Juarez, Ventura Montijo and Fernando Juarez; and two grandchildren, Jessica Juarez Kent and Yancy Juarez.
Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, with rosary recited at 10, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30.
Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
