Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Robert “Bud” Stokes will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at John E. Stephens Chapel. Rev. John E. Stephens and Rev. Allen Herrington will officiate.
Interment in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday, January 13, 2019 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.
Mr. Stokes, 66, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS.
He was an electrician. His hobbies include being with family, friends, furbabies, music, reading, drag racing and challenges.
Preceded in death: Parents, Henry Davis Stokes and Myrtle Hammond Stokes.
Survivors:
Wife, Betty Stokes of Philadelphia;
Daughter, Cecily Channa Zaffar (Asif) of Philadelphia;
Son, Kevin Stokes (Holly) of Philadelphia;
(1) Grandchild, Latif Zaffar.
