Patricia Elaine Whatley, 71, of LaGrange, GA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Mrs. Whatley was born April 29, 1947 in LaGrange, GA to the late Joel Davis Gladney Jr. and Mildred Underwood Gladney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Ware; sister, Cheryl McGinnis and her nephew, Jay Gladney. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth "Bubba" Whatley; son, Thomas "Mark" (Dana) Ware; grandchildren, Natalie (Denver) Carter and Clayton Ware; great-grandchildren, Robert "Reid" Carter, Amelia (Millie) Carter; brother; Joel (Tess) Gladney; nephew, Mitch (Jawan) McGinnis; nieces, Tava Stewart and Valarie (Tyler) Melton. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 13, 2019 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Mitch McGinnis and Rev. Cleve Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
