Marshall Dean Davis, 78, Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born October 30, 1940 in the Grayson Community near Booneville to the late Reacel and Monta (Starr) Davis.

Dean was a retired high school teacher and was a member of the UCA Alumni Association. He spent his retirement enjoying reading, cooking, traveling, taking care of dogs and cats, and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents before mentioned; 4 brothers, Arnold, Elmer, Opal and Glen Davis; 1 sister, Mary Janie Davis Catlett; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 14, 2018 at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, with burial in Bud Davis Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; Lana Gibbons, Richard Davis, Katherine Rider, Donna LaMonthe, Gary Davis, Ronald Davis, Rick Davis, Carl Wilkins, Debra Patterson, and Nomer James Wilkins.

Pallbearers: Randall James, Jeff James, Heath Ewing, Reece Davis, Jonathan Davis, and Shane Davis.
