Ronald “Ronnie” Clifford Ford, 71, of Wichita Falls, TX passed away on Thursday January 10, 2019.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday January 13, 2019 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta with Mr. Kim Childs officiating. Arrangements are under Davis Funeral Home.
Ronnie was born November 16, 1947 in Bowie, TX to Clifford and Eva (Fox) Ford. He married Sallie Ivey on February 29, 1971 in Wichita Falls, TX and was self employed as a car dealer. Mr. Ford was in the National Guard and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church in Buffalo Springs, TX. Mr. Ford not only attended Midwestern State University for a short time but he played basketball for them as well.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie of Wichita Falls, TX; 2 daughters Kristy Ford-Ragsdale of Dallas, TX, and Monna Myers and husband Will of Holiday, TX; 5 grandchildren, Laikin Ragsdale, Logan Ragsdale, Libby Ragsdale, Ross Myers, Jack Myers; sister, Doris Slaughter and husband Bill of Henrietta, TX; brother, Ray Chapel and wife Judy of Santo, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; Step-mom Sybil Ford; brother, Paul Ford; step-brother Lavon Chapel; nephew Shad Slaughter.
